Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 14, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the remote Pokémon trading card authentication and valuation services, provided privately and independently (see our legal notice), hereafter "the Provider".
2. Nature of the service
The Provider delivers an expert opinion based on analysis of photographs and video submitted by the client. This service is not an official grading submission (PSA, CGC, BGS) and does not result in a sealed case or a certificate enforceable against third parties. The report states a confidence level, not absolute certainty, since a remote examination cannot replace a full physical inspection.
The report is not, under any circumstances, a guarantee of the authenticity or value of the examined card. It reflects our experts' assessment at a given point in time, based solely on the material submitted by the client.
3. Ordering and pricing
Orders are placed through the site's submission form. Prices, shown in Swiss francs (CHF), are those displayed on the Pricing page at the time of order, including the discounted rate applicable to batches of 5 cards or more. Card payment is processed directly on the site, through the payment provider Stripe, once photos and video have been submitted and before analysis begins.
4. Delivery time
The report is sent by email within an indicative 48 business hours of receiving a complete, usable submission (sharp photos, video where required). This timeframe may be extended for batches of several cards.
5. Liability
The Provider uses reasonable means to ensure the reliability of its analysis, without an obligation of result. The Provider declines all liability for an error of judgment by its experts, including if the authenticity verdict or valuation communicated later prove inaccurate. The Provider also cannot be held liable for a purchase, sale or grading submission decision made solely on the basis of the report, nor for indirect damages.
This limitation of liability does not apply in case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Provider, in accordance with mandatory provisions of Swiss law (Art. 100 CO).
6. Cancellation and refunds
The client may cancel for free as long as analysis has not started; payment is then fully refunded via Stripe to the original payment method. Once the report is delivered, the service is deemed performed and is not refundable, except in case of a manifest error attributable to the Provider. If you are dissatisfied, contact us first at contact@pokexpertise.ch — see also our FAQ.
7. Ownership of submitted files
The client warrants that they hold the necessary rights over the photos and video submitted. These files are handled under our privacy policy.
8. Contractual capacity
The client declares that they are of legal age, or have a legal representative's authorization, to order this service and submit the associated personal data.
9. Changes to these terms
The Provider may amend these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of order; orders already placed remain governed by the version accepted at the time they were placed.
10. Miscellaneous
The Provider is not liable for a delay or failure to perform resulting from a case of force majeure. Should any clause of these terms be held invalid, the remaining clauses stay fully applicable.
11. Language of the contract
These terms exist in French and in English. In the event of a discrepancy in interpretation between the two versions, the French version prevails.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts at the Provider's place of residence, subject to mandatory legal provisions to the contrary.
