About PokExpertise
PokExpertise started from a simple gap: there was no independent, transparent service in Switzerland to authenticate and value a Pokémon card without sending it abroad for a full grading submission.
Our experience
Our team has collected and traded Pokémon cards since the Base Set / Jungle / Fossil era, and has examined several thousand cards over the years — authentic, counterfeit, and everything in between. That direct market experience is what feeds our authentication methodology.
How we work
Documented methodology
Every criterion used in a report is published and explained — never a black box, never a verdict that isn't justified.
Honest about the limits
A remote examination has limits. When a criterion can't be settled with certainty, the report says so clearly instead of guessing.
Independence
We don't buy or sell cards, and we don't take a commission from any grading service. Our only interest is the accuracy of the report.
Our concrete commitments
- We never buy or sell cards ourselves: there's no conflict of interest in our valuations.
- Every report can be challenged — if there is a clear error on our part, we correct it or issue a refund (see our terms).
- Your photos and video are never shared, resold, or used for commercial purposes.
- Our price sources (TCGPlayer, Cardmarket) are always cited in the report — you can verify them yourself.
The team
PokExpertise is run by Jane Exemple, Managing Director (example — replace with the real team presentation), supported by examiners trained in our internal methodology. For any question about our qualifications, write to us directly.
Based in Switzerland
The service operates from Switzerland and handles your data under the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD). Your photos and video are stored on infrastructure hosted in Switzerland — see our privacy policy.
