This policy describes how the operator of PokExpertise, a privately run independent activity ("we"), processes your personal data as part of the PokExpertise service, in accordance with Switzerland's revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD, in force since September 1, 2023).
Who is responsible for processing

Data we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number (optional)
- Photos and video of the submitted card
- Information you provide about the card (name, set, notes)
- Minimal technical data tied to the submission (IP address, timestamp) for security purposes
We do not collect or store your card details. Payment is processed directly by Stripe, which alone has access to the card number and associated data.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
This data is used exclusively to perform the requested authentication and/or valuation, produce your report, and contact you about it. Processing is based on the performance of the service you explicitly request by submitting the form. We never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Recipients and processors
- Infomaniak Public Cloud (Switzerland): site hosting and object storage for your photos and video.
- Resend: sending notification and confirmation emails related to your request.
- Stripe: processing your card payment. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data, under its own privacy policy.
None of your data is sold or shared with a third party for advertising purposes.
Transfers of data outside Switzerland
Your submission (photos, video) stays stored in Switzerland. Sending emails via Resend and processing payments via Stripe may involve processing outside Switzerland; in that case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the nLPD (a country offering an adequate level of protection, or equivalent contractual clauses).
Retention period
Photos and video are kept only as long as needed to process your submission and handle any related claims, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time at contact@pokexpertise.ch.
Your rights
Under the nLPD, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@pokexpertise.ch. You may also file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
Access to submitted files is protected by time-limited signed links, restricted to our team. No payment card data is collected on this site.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising tracking cookies or intrusive third-party analytics tools.
Minors
This service is intended for adults, or for individuals with a legal representative's authorization to submit a card and personal data.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to applicable law. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
